Join Alpine Skills International, California’s largest and most experienced AIARE provider for you AIARE 3 course. For over 40 years ASI has been offering avalanche courses and has taught thousands of students how to make good decisions in avalanche terrain.
From our base in Truckee, CA. we use the fantastic backcountry terrain around Donner Pass to show you how to mange risk and evaluate hazards when skiing or boarding through avalanche terrain. The AIARE 2 course reviews and expands upon the AIARE 1 course and teaches more complex and advanced hazard evaluation for longer tours.
The cost includes the use of all avalanche safety gear such as beacon, probe and shovel as well as the AIARE field book.
