This comprehensive course reviews curriculum from the AIARE 1 and adds complexity to snowpack and terrain management both in the classroom and on long tours in Rocky Mountain National Park.
Learn from AMGA-trained and certified ski and splitboard guides.
Refine techniques for evaluating hazard and managing risk when traveling through avalanche terrain.
These courses are for downhill skiers and boarders. All participants MUST travel on touring equipment -- skis or splitboard -- during the course.
Mammut Avalanche Safety gear is available to demo during the course.
