Course Details

This course will be based out of Togwotee Mountain Lodge near Togwotee Pass. The lodge’s classroom is proximal to field locations and the surrounding backcountry. This is a time-intensive course and long days are expected. The field travel for this program takes place on skis/splitboard; students must be able to safely travel downhill on skis/board through variable backcountry conditions. Students must also be able to travel uphill at a moderate pace using skins.

Lodging and Food:
Lodging in cabins is included in the course cost starting the night before the course start and ending on the last day of the course. Please note that meals are not included in the cost of this program. Each cabin has sleeping capacity of three people and a kitchenette. The lodge facilities have breakfast and dinner available for purchase. Plan to bring your own lunch and snacks and breakfast/dinner if you choose.
