Course Details
Backcountry Babes offers women’s specific AIARE courses to encourage women to take leadership roles in the backcountry. In this 3-day course, learn to identify avalanche terrain, problems, types, work as a team, and practice avalanche rescue. We combine classroom and field components each day to give you the tools to make better decisions in the backcountry. We also offer co-ed courses and bring the same attitude of inclusiveness, support and positive learning environment to our co-ed courses.
