Join Colorado Backcountry’s amazing team of instructors in the state’s best avalanche course venue – Crested Butte.
For 2020-21 we will run our AIARE programs with a hybrid-learning model, including some at-home activities at your own pace, online meetings with the instructors and other students, and two full days of in-person field instruction. As always, our AIARE courses emphasize real-world skill building with hands-on coaching in the field so you'll learn the practical side of Decision Making in Avalanche Terrain.
